Good stuff. I was able to complete it. I really enjoyed the puzzles once you understand the altar thing.

Great atmosphere and graphics! I really liked the ambient sound, it adds a lot to the gloomy atmosphere. Also, the dice mechanic is cool and a novelty for me.

awesome work here, everything is well polished the combat is really cool the puzzle is very difficult and I wasnt sure what to do after rolling the 1.

Such a cool game!

I love the strategy mechanics (and the wordplay puzzles) Its well balanced.

And the atmosphere... so creepy that sometimes got jumpscared by the shadowy figures xD

If I have to improve anything:

  • Didnt like having to press to move every time instead of holding
  • I wish the "abilites" could be fitted all in the screen
  • I would add a hurt or dead sound for the enemies

Anyways, a very fun game. It has potential to be a full game tbh

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with your ideas for improvements.

I really like your Game Play it's really original, in addition the drawings are really cool. However I was not able to move past the door, maybe because of the web page adaptation.

To conclude it's fun to play!

Thanks for playing.

It is possible to move beyond the altar. It is a minor puzzle - perhaps a bit too obscure though.

Read the text when you click on it carefully, and consider your options.

I think the challenge with that puzzle might be two-fold. I restarted the game three times, and saw your comment here before I realized what I had to do.

Part one is the riddle itself. The challenge to it is that depending on what words you emphasize in a sentence it can completely change the meaning of the sentence. But hey, that's fair play, it's a riddle and that's obviously meant to be the challenge.

The second thing that I think makes it maybe more obscure than intended is I don't think it's obvious that the riddle even can be read in the intended way, because the tutorial directions for using dice might lead someone to think that dice only interact with the action menu - although I have no idea how to solve that without either making it too obvious or changing the game mechanics entirely.

Yeah its a puzzle, hint: you need to use dice on the Altar

Interesting concept, nice and clean looking.

I got very lost!

Thanks for playing! What part did you get lost at ? Did u manage to finish the game ? :)

I couldn't find how to active the first portal.
Also I couldn't work out what the lock icon did, I locked a dice roll but it got overriden anyway.

The key lays in the word "one"
